PBS LearningMedia Collaborates with The White House in “Let Girls Learn” Global Initiative

62 million girls around the world – half of whom are adolescent – are not in school. With March being Women’s History Month, it is the perfect time to raise awareness of this issue and work towards a solution. Last week, PBS LearningMedia was honored to be a guest at The White House as the Obama Administration held a live summit to announce their Let Girls Learn initiative, an effort to help adolescent girls worldwide complete their education and pursue their broader aspirations. PBS LearningMedia is proud to expand our collaboration on this global initiative with the launch of the new Girls’ Education resource collection.
