We’re excited to announce that we’ve created a new and improved version of the Localization report for PBS stations!
The Localization report now has three different types of data to help you understand local traffic to PBS.org:
- By Station – this tab shows traffic to PBS.org from specific stations. This was the only data on the previous versions of the localization report. You may notice an increase in these numbers, which is due to improved tracking since the launch of auto-tracking in April 2014 as well as tracking that now includes video.
- By State – new to the report, you can now see traffic to PBS.org from states within the U.S.
- By Metro Area – also new to the report, this allows you to see traffic to PBS.org by metro area, also known as DMA.
These enhancements were made because of requests from stations, so please let us know if you have any feedback or questions.
If you would like to be added to the localization distro list, or to receive the report for August, send an email to email@example.com.
