Leading the Way in Innovation in the Classroom

Earlier this year, the PBS LearningMedia team along with stations across the system conducted a nationwide search to recognize tech-savvy educators for their utilization of digital media and technology in the classroom. The response was impressive and 100 diverse educators from across the country were selected as the 2014 PBS LearningMedia Digital InnovatorsThis Thursday and Friday, we will welcome the “Top 16” LEAD PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators from that group and a representative from their local station for the 2014 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators Summit. This two-day event is sure to spark incredible conversations as attendees hear from renowned speakers and pedagogical experts, learn strategies for delivering classroom-ready best practices in digital learning and network with like-minded peers. PBS station representatives will also take-part in tailored professional development that will prepare them to support digital learning in their community and deliver an innovative education solution that supports station engagement and sustainability goals.
