A Day of Thanks

Whether it's all our great friends at #localPBS stations or the fact that Downton Abbey returns a mere 38 days from now, we at PBS have a lot to be thankful for.

So we asked a few folks around the office what they are thankful for this year, and here is what they said:

Taryn Stuart
PBS Digital | New Media Content Editor
"I'm thankful for our growing family. We will be welcoming baby number three exactly one week after Thanksgiving!"

Meg Albus
PBS Digital | Technical Writer
"I’m thankful that I can ride my bike to work and start the day off with fresh air and beautiful scenery."

Jen Carter
PBS Digital | Sr. Associate
"As trite as it sounds, I'm thankful for literally everything, from my fiancĂ©, family, friends, to my work, to my ability to be thankful for it all. Perceptive is paramount in being thankful. But I'd be remiss if this year I didn't call out the newest member of my family, our pup Bernard. He had a really rough go of it at the beginning and while he stands a small but mighty 3" from the ground, he is as much of a trooper as he is cute."

Blanca Brown
HR | Employee Benefits Manager
"I'm thankful for good health, mine and my children’s."

Brionne Griffin
PBS Digital | Marketing Associate
"This year, I'm so thankful my mom could come to DC and spend the holiday with me. We are going to make a big feast, including our signature chocolate chip pecan bread pudding with bourbon sauce. Mmm!"
