We would like to use this month’s Social Media Spotlight post to share some fun news!
We have officially launched a new campaign today, called: #CatchingCarmen: The Case of the Pilfered Paintbrushes.
We want to revive the nostalgia of Carmen Sandiego’s fans in order to increase awareness of our social networks, while also increasing follower bases.
A small PBS team, working with several local stations, developed an eight-week geography game that encourages fans across the nation to uncover clues, solve landmark trivia questions, and share pictures of themselves with PBS for the chance to be featured across our social platforms. The majority of the posts will be tied into the #ThrowbackThursday meme, so keep an eye out for PBS posts with this hashtag.
