Get Ready for MASTERPIECE CLASSIC "Downton Abbey, Season 3"

By the PBS and Masterpiece Communications Teams
In case you missed it, the cast of Downton Abbey joined PBS and WGBH for a tour of Los Angeles and New York media in conjunction with a series of events in the early days of December.

Below is a summary of their week:

The cast of "Downton Abbey" has had a whirlwind seven days, hitting both coasts to premiere season three in the U.S. The festivities kicked off Dec. 7 at the Pacific Design Center in L.A. at a Q&A and reception co-hosted by The Hollywood Reporter.

For the east coast premiere, the cast traveled to New York City for a Dec. 10 event at the Museum of Modern Art, co-sponsored by Vanity Fair and Ralph Lauren.

While in the Big Apple, the cast also hit Broadway to see co-star Dan Stevens in "The Heiress." They also enjoyed a Knicks game and headed downton... erm downtoWn on the subway.

On Dec. 12, the cast gathered at New York's Essex House for a Q&A streamed live on YouTube. Earlier that day, they visited TODAY to offer a preview of season three.
