Project Merlin is a cutting-edge initiative to bring PBS and its member stations into the next generation of online content distribution. At its core, Merlin is a database of information that allows PBS, PBS stations, and PBS producers to add and manage content for promotion across all PBS web properties. This means that PBS.org and other PBS digital products will be true hybrids of local and national new media content - and PBS expects the entire system to benefit from increased web traffic and a more robust online user experience.
